For clubs and academies

A training method your club can explain, apply and sustain.

I work with development clubs to build their own method, starting with their age groups, coaches and resources.

Carlos Bou

A shared direction

Each coach brings their experience. Shared criteria help that work continue across age groups and changes of staff.

What we build together

Context diagnosis · training principles · tasks and progressions by age group · coaching staff support. You receive a methodology document, a working plan and materials to support implementation.

How we start

Send your application. I review it personally and invite you to a free 25–30-minute conversation. We then agree a tailored proposal, scope, deliverables and fees.

Experience at the service of your club

Ten seasons at Villarreal CF’s academy, international experience in Qatar, a PhD in Education and a current role in Segunda Federación.

Conditions

Online support, with on-site work available by agreement. Each proposal defines its duration, deliverables, confidentiality, fees and invoicing. No competitive results are guaranteed.

Questions about working together

Small clubs too?

Yes. The proposal starts with your resources and your priorities.

How long does it take?

We agree the scope and timeline after understanding the context.

Does it include staff training?

Yes, where agreed in the proposal: shared sessions, practical work and support materials.

Is confidentiality agreed?

We define confidentiality and permitted uses of materials in the agreement.

Let’s talk about how your club works.

Before our conversation

Tell me how your club works

I will review your application personally. Fields marked with * are required.

Do not include personal information about players or minors.

Your information

Data controller: Carlos Bou Sospedra.

carlosbousospedra@gmail.com

How I use your data

To handle your application and introductory conversation, reply to you and, if we agree to work together, arrange sessions and follow-up. Applying does not subscribe you to marketing communications.

Application and optional permissions

The legal basis for handling your application and introductory conversation is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; if mentoring starts, it is performance of the agreement. Applicable legal obligations provide the basis for tax and accounting records. Recording, transcription and AI use require separate, optional consent. Declining them does not prevent you from applying for an introductory conversation or accessing mentoring; we will agree on follow-up without those tools. You can withdraw consent by emailing the contact address or informing Carlos before a session.

Information collected

I receive the information you provide in the form, your preferences and the information needed to manage your application and appointments. Required fields identify you, allow me to reply and explain your mentoring needs; the application cannot be submitted without them. Do not include health data or information identifying other people. Infrastructure providers may process technical connection logs to operate and protect the service.

Tools used

The service uses Netlify for website hosting, Supabase for applications, Resend for emails, and Google Calendar and Meet for appointments and meetings. Tactiq will only be used for transcription with your permission. Documents may be prepared with ChatGPT assistance and will be reviewed by Carlos before delivery.

Providers and international transfers

Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Before this version is used with real personal data, the applicable agreements, locations and safeguards must be checked; verified information and how to obtain a copy of the safeguards must then be added here. Consent to transcription or AI use does not replace that check.

Information to avoid

Describe your context without names, images, health data or other information that identifies players or other people, particularly children. Before sharing team materials, we will agree on what is needed and how to anonymise it.

Your rights and preferences

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, and withdraw optional permissions by writing to the contact provided. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

How long information is kept

Application data is kept while the application is being handled and, if mentoring begins, during the service relationship. At the end, we will review what should be deleted and what must be retained to meet legal obligations or address claims. Transcripts are working material: they will be reviewed for deletion once the documents have been prepared and checked, unless there is a specific reason to retain them. Deletion is not automatic.

Decisions and human review

Carlos personally reviews applications and documents. AI does not decide whether an application is accepted or independently send recommendations or materials to the student.

Analytics and browser storage

We use Netlify Web Analytics to understand page visits, traffic sources and access errors. Statistics are generated from hosting server logs, without installing analytics cookies or tracking code in your browser. Netlify processes technical request data, including the IP address used to calculate visitor counts; we receive aggregate statistics, not the content of your forms.

Optional Google Analytics measurement is disabled in this version. The private administrator area uses session storage to maintain authentication in the tab. If Google Analytics is enabled in future, its terms must be explained and permission requested before it loads; you will be able to decline or withdraw permission.

Status of this information

Review version dated 1 October 2026. Retention criteria are described; their implementation, provider settings and agreements, and international transfer safeguards remain to be verified before publication.

Professional contact details are used to review the club enquiry, arrange the introductory conversation and prepare a proposal.

Purpose of this website

This website presents Carlos’s professional background and mentoring service for football coaches. Submitting an application does not create a paid agreement. After the free introductory conversation, coach and mentor decide together whether to proceed; payment is then made by Bizum or bank transfer using private instructions.

A 50-minute session costs €50. A pack of four sessions costs €180 and does not expire. These are final prices, including applicable taxes. Sessions are usually weekly and can be adapted by agreement.

Use of content

Website content and mentoring materials must be used with respect for their owners’ rights. Access does not grant permission to reproduce or distribute them beyond uses permitted by law or expressly agreed.
