Intervention and communication
Do you feel that your message from the touchline does not always give your team what it needs?
Ask yourself these questions.
Do you intervene because the player needs help, or because you need to react? What effect do your words, gestures and silences have? Can you distinguish when to give an instruction, ask a question or let the player find a solution? How do you manage your communication when the match moves away from what you expected?
We can work on this together.
Together, we can work on how you support your team during competition. Managing your own emotions, making messages clear, choosing when to intervene, communicating individually and collectively, and using half-time conversations to help players understand what is happening and how to respond.
A space to discuss your coaching.
